Yafa Relief is a nonprofit humanitarian organization supporting vulnerable and crisis-affected communities across Palestine. Founded in 2024, we work to translate humanitarian resources into practical and responsible assistance that responds to urgent needs, protects dignity and supports improved well-being and living conditions.
Who We Are
Responding to humanitarian need across Palestine
Yafa Relief was established to respond to humanitarian needs affecting people and communities facing conflict, displacement, poverty and disruption to essential services. Our institutional mandate covers Palestine as a whole, while each project is presented according to its actual verified location, scope and period of implementation.
Our current programming focuses on food security, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), education and humanitarian response. As Yafa Relief strengthens its institutional and technical capacity, we are preparing for responsible future expansion into health, protection, and early recovery and livelihoods.
We believe effective humanitarian action begins with understanding context, listening to communities, planning responsibly, safeguarding people, documenting delivery and learning from implementation.
Our Story
Yafa Relief was founded in 2024 against a backdrop of deep humanitarian need affecting Palestinian communities. From the beginning, our purpose has been to help connect humanitarian resources with people facing urgent needs through assistance that is practical, locally informed and accountable.
As a growing organization, we are building our systems around responsible governance, safeguarding, financial stewardship, field documentation, programme quality and meaningful partnerships. We measure progress not by organizational growth alone, but by our ability to improve delivery, strengthen systems, learn from experience and earn trust.

Where We Work
Yafa Relief’s institutional mandate covers Palestine. Our current humanitarian portfolio includes substantial programming in the Gaza Strip. The organization may develop responsible programmes and partnerships in other Palestinian communities as needs, access, qualified partnerships and resources allow.
Leadership & Governance
Responsible humanitarian action requires responsible governance. Yafa Relief’s governance framework should provide appropriate oversight of organizational strategy, compliance, financial stewardship, safeguarding and programme accountability.
Accountability & Safeguarding
Accountability is part of how Yafa Relief works, not only a reporting requirement. We are committed to strengthening systems that protect people from harm, safeguard personal information, prevent fraud and misuse of assistance, support responsible programme delivery and provide appropriate channels for concerns and feedback.

Working With Partners
Yafa Relief welcomes responsible partnerships with humanitarian organizations, institutional donors, foundations, community organizations and other stakeholders seeking locally informed humanitarian engagement in Palestine. Collaboration may support current programmes or help develop future technical capacity, subject to clear responsibilities, due diligence, safeguarding, shared standards and mutual accountability.
