Why clean water is so scarce in Gaza
Access to clean water is one of Gaza's most urgent needs. Damaged infrastructure, constant power cuts and fuel shortages have left thousands of households without safe water for drinking, cooking or basic hygiene. In some areas, families survive on a fraction of the daily minimum recommended by the World Health Organisation.
Reaching families where they are
Our field teams have distributed thousands of litres of clean water to displaced families and vulnerable communities across Gaza. Using mobile water tanks and bottled water, they reach even the hardest-to-access areas.
