Winter has become a fight for survival
Winter brings plunging temperatures and heavy rain to Gaza, and for more than a million people it has created a frightening new reality. Biting winds and freezing rain soak through canvas tents and turn dirt floors to mud. For families who fled with nothing but the clothes they were wearing, with no heating, no electricity and no proper shelter, a single blanket can make the difference between sickness and survival.
What the campaign delivers
Our teams are made up of local Gazans: fathers, mothers and young volunteers. They navigate debris-filled streets to reach the hardest-hit areas, racing to deliver aid before the worst storms arrive. Each distribution includes:
- Heavy winter jackets for children and adults
- Thick thermal blankets
- Wool hats, gloves and socks
More than supplies
